Dr. Lamberg

Lamberg Seminars Founder and Director

Dr. Steven Lamberg  has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years with an emphasis on cosmetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry. Dr. Lamberg offers his patients Oral Appliance Therapy for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and snoring.

Dr. Lamberg is the founder of the Long Island Center for Dental Esthetics and Occlusion. In addition to developing and presenting hands on clinical dentistry programs on the latest and most effective methods of cosmetic, reconstructive and implant dentistry, Dr. Lamberg offers seminars on dental sleep medicine.

The Lamberg Sleep Well Appliance is a patented, FDA cleared intraoral device, invented by Dr. Lamberg and worn during sleep in order to alleviate snoring and mild to moderate OSA. Proven to be over 95% effective, the Lamberg Sleep Well Appliance is the smallest, most comfortable outfit offered to those seeking treatment for snoring and OSA. In many cases, the Lamberg Sleep Well Appliance can replace antiquated therapies for OSA, such as the CPAP device; providing patients with the treatment they need and a level of comfort other therapies can’t offer.

Most recently, Dr. Lamberg was appointed to the Faculty of the Department of Dental Sleep Medicine at NYU’s College of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines, as well as being an active member of the:

  • American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine
  • American Academy of Sleep Medicine
  • American Equilibration Society
  • Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines
  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • American Dental Association

He served as the President of the New York Chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and was active in the organization for over 10 years. Dr. Lamberg has completed all course offerings at The Dawson Center and participated in extended programs in Seattle with both Dr. John Kois and Dr. Frank Spear.

Dr. Lamberg served as Chief of Staff at the Jewish Home and Hospital in NYC; Associate Clinical Professor at SUNY Stony Brook Dental School and presented lectures and clinical courses on Occlusion at the University of the Pacific for PAC live. He attended NYU Dental School after he completed his Undergraduate Degree in Biology and Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Lamberg grew up in Huntington, NY, and has lived in Northport for over 30 years. He has one son, James, who attends SUNY Purchase.

Dr. Lamberg is quite active in our community; he regularly attends fundraising events for various organizations, especially the Cinema Arts Centre located here in Huntington. Dr. Lamberg has also volunteered for the Give Back a Smile program by restoring the smiles of women who have suffered facial and oral disfigurement as victims of domestic violence.
